Plywood Subflooring

Plywood subflooring is the series of boards laid down on top of the floor system. They are are, of course, made of sturdy plywood.
Plywood subflooring can be found...under the floor...right above the floor system... Yeah... Just rip up that nice hardwood or carpet or laminate and get a good glance at what keeps your floor stable.
The subflooring is there the stabilize anything that is laid down on top of it. Again, this could be tile, laminate, hardwood or carpet. The subflooring keeps someone from stepping through the floor in between the floor joist in the floor system.

The wall sheathings are found on the side of the wall studs that face out. They are essential to the outside of the building, so they must be applied immediately and without fail.
The wall sheathings keep the building insulated from the forces of mother nature. They also help keep out the little pest that run around to find shelter from mother nature. In other words, the wall sheathing is practically the shield beneath the beautiful work around the building.
