Reflection
Finally, the roof plan. Imagine suddenly growing wings from wherever you wish, taking flight and looking down to see that nice roof and all its slopes. That's it. That's all the roof plan is. It's literally a bird's eye view of all the ridges and edges and valleys of the roof. This one was a little bit of a GAH! moment, but that's okay. It all worked out in the end. The roof plan consists of two layers: they actual roof and the house beneath it. The dashed lines are the house and the purple lines are the roof. Done. Thing is, that's not all that's there. The notes along the roof describe what's going on in the picture. Some are valleys and dips, some are ridges that poke up out of the plan. Some are just simple slopes with a specific slope. These are all labeled so that the builders can understand what is going on up there. From here, it just looks like strange pop art, if even that.
