Reflection
Elevations are actually really nice. Personally, this is the best part of the entire project. The elevations are the different view points of the house using a compass to label the assorted elevations. They consist of dimensions, notes, elevation numbers and different assorted layers to represent the different parts of the house. The layers can be used to draw windows, doors, decks and any other components of the house that just happen to show up on that section. For example, there's only one garage, and that's on the south elevation. There won't be another garage on any of the other elevations. Another would be the decks. There are multiple views for the decks on each side of the house, so they will need to be drawn accordingly. The elevations are important, because they show what the house would look like from each side. It's easier than walking around the entire thing and taking a good long look at the perimeter. Not to mention, this helps the builders understand what the building looks like. It's way better than guessing what it should look like. A lot safer too.
