Okay. This one's a doozy. The floor plan is the meat and potatoes of the whole design. It's literally just cutting the roof off the house and looking down into the assorted floors. It's a layout of the rooms - labeled, of course - and even the appliances. It includes all the measurements needed for each room and where windows, doors and random walls go. Want some stairs? Go for it. Just make sure you use the right layers...dun dun DUN!! Any who, the floor plan is made up of different layers that depict the assorted components of the house. It also shows the assorted ideas and possibilities that the house could consist of. It's mainly just a rough draft bird's eye view of the house on in the inside. Whatever way it's put, it's still pretty fun to imagine and play around with. Plus, its' much easier to cut and paste a drawing of a couch rather than push it around the living room. So there's that.
