The wall stud is the wood outline for the wall. They're practically the skeleton of the walls.
The wall stud is found...well...in the wall... They are behind all the sheathing and paint and Justin Bieber posters.
The wall studs are great for planning out where a wall goes. They are also perfect for keeping the walls sturdy and actually able to stand on its own without being able to be knocked over if someone wants to hang up their Justin Bieber posters.

The floor system is the series of beams running parallel of each other to frame the floors and keep the floor stable.
The floor system is found beneath any flooring, especially for upper levels of buildings. Just tear up that nice hardwood flooring or carpet and take a good look at those two by fours.
The floor system is there to keep people from falling through the floor and getting a surprise trip to the basement. But seriously. The floor system is there to support the weight of people or objects or animals, making sure that they don't crash through to the lower floors.

Roof System (Rafter or Truss) - Wood Framed

The roof system is the skeleton of the roof. They are in the shape of the roof to outline it.
The roof system is easy to find: just go to the attic. If the attic isn't remodeled, criss-cross beams will be all across the ceiling to show off the roof system.
This system is used to keep the ceiling from caving in and landing on someone's head. They outline the roof so that the roof can be laid down, but it also keeps Mother Nature from swooping in and flattening a building with all the wind, rain and heavy snow.
