Biography
My name is Madison Puccio, but I like to go by Maddy. I heard about this course during the eighth grade tour and remembered visiting the class when I decided to try out a career in engineering. I will be working in the library my senior year, but I babysit sometimes. I plan to go to KSU for a few years, then move on to Georgia Tech. I would like to become a Bio Mechanical Engineer and work with prosthetics or a literature teacher. I love to create and design structures and any kind of machine. I used to make house blueprints online and even build machines with a few games. Sometimes I’ll create a machine that I need to use in a book or short story for fictitious purposes. I would like to improve my ability to retain information after long periods of time. After a while, I tend to forget processes or facts. I am very excited to create drafts of new designs for any mechanical machine. I would like to start working on a project on prosthetics, such as a robotic arm. "On Writing" by Steven King has been a very inspirational book to me. There was one line in the book that told me that writing should be put on the back burner. I realized that after that sentence, and I've become a little more social thanks to it. love to read and write. I also like to draw. A personal goal of mine is to create a prosthetic arm that sends signals to the nerves in order for the person to feel with the robotic arm. I want people to feel a little more human instead of a cyborg.
